Sam O’Connell

THE DOME
5.30pm – 6.15pm

Sam O’Connell is a 28-year-old Australian-Irish Folk musician from the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Sam picked up a guitar at 7 years old and continued learning and mastering his craft for years to come. Sam would play and learn for hours and hours every single day without fail, and during this process he began to evolve as an artist, leaning on his musical influences. Once Sam turned 18, he went straight into the local gig scene and instantly fell in love. He has since played hundreds of shows all over Australia. Sam is continuing to play regularly all over Victoria and has gained a solid fanbase. With his raw, vulnerable and emotional storytelling vocals, and his incredibly intricate and delicate guitar work, Sam is the whole package and always puts on a show that will captivate all audiences. Sam’s main musical influences include Mumford & Sons, Passenger, The Lumineers, Noah Kahan and Kingfishr.
