
WOMENFOLK: a celebration of women and songs of the folk tradition

Kathryn Clements is one of Australia’s finest exponents of traditional Irish song. She has toured Ireland extensively and her latest concert: WOMENFOLK is an intimate weaving of music, song and story celebrating the women and songs from the traditional and contemporary folk genres.
Kathryn will be joined by the talented singer/songwriter Suzette Herft, and together, their mesmerising harmonies and soulful performances will transport you to the very heart of their Irish and American folk influences.
Kathryn is an accomplished songwriter and will perform some originals from her latest album, Songs of Love and Freedom which highlights four Irish favourites, including Song for Ireland and No Frontiers.
YOU will be invited to sing the famous songs of love, joy ,sorrow, humour and wit such as Grace; Maggie; Only A Woman’s Heart and rollicking, toe tapping songs and tunes including Mary Mack and I’ll Tell Me Ma.
